The End of Days

AN ONLINE EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR ECUMENICAL AND INTERFAITH RELATIONS

What did ancient rabbis believe about the end of days? Discussing her new book, Beyond Hope: Rabbinic Eschatology of Late Antiquity in Comparative Perspective, Dr. Jenny Labendz will explain rabbinic ideas about the end times and the world to come.

By examining rabbinic texts alongside Christian ideas, she will show how these visions were often less perfect, final, or distant than we might expect—and what they reveal about hope, the future, and life today.
